Ventilation system project of Amazon data center in Japan

At the end of 2020, Foshan Tanghan Precision Metal Products CO., Ltd. and Japan J · CREATE CO., LTD reached an agreement on the ventilation system engineering project of Amazon's data center in Japan. Foshan Tanghan is responsible for the design and production of the ventilation system. The project market has grown for 14 months, and the total capital scale is about 34 million yuan.


With the continuous efforts of Tanghan Engineering Department, J · CREATE CO., LTD of Japan finally confirmed the design concept of modular production and installation designed by us, that is, connecting large ventilation pipes with stainless steel screws and sealing strips to facilitate transportation, assembly and leak-proof effect.

In terms of material selection, our engineers have selected magnesium aluminum zinc plate imported from Japan. Compared with traditional galvanized plate, this material has a galvanized amount of up to 275G/m2, which has high stability of rust prevention, corrosion prevention, waterproof and sun protection. At the same time, the broken interface has the effect of automatic repair, even after cutting and stamping, it will not rust in the section. Through the laser cutting, CNC bending, opening, sheet metal production process, and then use high-density attracted fire insulation glass wool as a sandwich filling, so that the heat insulation, waterproof, anti-rust effect of the entire product can be greatly improved.

After passing the early cutting, it is followed by Tiancheng, riveting, and then hoisting. All screw fittings are made of 304 stainless steel. All installation Angle codes and brackets are made of magnesium aluminum zinc plate or hot dip zinc surface treatment to prevent the product from oxidation or rust in the future use process.

Through this modular design, we saved about 42% of the transportation cost and 37% of the labor cost for the Japanese side, and finally shipped directly to the port of Tokyo, Japan through the container, through the later installation and commissioning, the project was successfully accepted. The Japanese side is very satisfied with this and has continued to expand cooperation with our company. The strength and confidence of our company to participate in international engineering projects have also been greatly improved.
